Eat4Eight: Teen Mom Budget Challenge

September 28-30, 2020

We know you want to support teen moms, but have you ever had to live the life of a teen mom? The young moms at Massey Centre are often sole-support parents who are juggling parenthood, school, healing from trauma, and learning to live independently. All this while living on a very tight budget. The young moms often have less than $8 a day for food. Sounds easy? You try it! Join us for Eat4Eight – Teen Mom Food Challenge!

What is it?

Eat4Eight is a challenge to eat off the food budget of a teen mom for 3 days, while raising funds for young moms and babies at Massey Centre. You can spend up to $8 a day on food. The challenge will run from September 28-30, 2020.   Curious about what the experience will be like? Here are reflections from our Vice President’s journey in the 2019 challenge
