Silke Dorego

SILKE DOREGO immigrated to Canada in 1983, working first for “Mövenpick restaurants” in various positions (pastry chef, catering manager, stewarding manager, special projects). She joined The United Church of Canada in 1997 and has been an active member ever since. She and her husband are raising their three children in the east end of the city.
 
Silke works as the Office Administrator and Catering Manager at College Street United Church. She enjoys volunteering at her church and for Girl Guides of Canada with her daughter and is a passionate soccer mom to her son.
